DANGEROUS GOODS REGULATION FOR AIRLINES

Safety is number 1 priority in airline industry, that is why it is important that every personnel working in the industry shall know how to work safely. Specially the personnel directly related to the shipping of cargoes, materials of different kinds. Airline cargoes are very complicated and there are many materials are controlled to the safety hazards. All personnel who are dealing with the material handling, shipping, or storage shall be certified by the IATA to handling dangerous material to control the risks and eliminated the hazards.

This course is based on the IATA dangerous goods regulation for all categories including the radioactive materials also.

COURSE CONTENT

Legislation and introduction of DGR, Hazardous materials, UN numbers, Shipping names, control and limits of quantities, Classification, how to pack properly, Marking and labeling, documentation preparation including airway bills and contracts.

WHO WILL ATTEND

Airline cargo acceptance and cargo agency staff, Cargo operations and ground handling staff, Station managers responsible for the safe transport of dangerous goods, Shippers, cargo agents, consolidators, freight forwarders, Instructional designers and instructors of DGR

CERTIFICATION

Successful delegates will receive two certificates one for DGR and one DGR Radioactive material. These certificates are valid for 2 years. Certificates will be issued by UK Civil Aviation Authority stamped by international civil aviation organization (ICAO).
